According to Vice, the FBI applied for a warrant asking Sony to provide data of a PSN account belonging to a Curtis Alexander. This included messages to and from the account, the destination addresses of each and the date and time they were sent. This is in addition to the usual stuff like Alexander’s name, address, phone number and passwords. The FBI also wanted details on games he played, including his progress in each.
Also known as Dola with the username “Speedola20”, Alexander is believed to be part of a larger cocaine distribution network. He was charging US$34000 (~RM141000) for a kilogram of the substance. The FBI also surveilled Alexander selling 100g of the substance for US$4400 (~RM18300) to an unnamed informant. The warrant itself was filed on 22 October. It also reads that Sony is “ordered to disclose the above information to the Government within 14 days of service of this warrant”. (Source: Vice)
