91mobiles has shown what is claimed to be CAD renders of the Apple Watch Pro wearable, which tells us a couple of things about the wearable. One is that it will have a slightly larger screen, which is something that you’ll be forgiven for missing. But for specifics, this is expected to measure in at 49mm, as opposed to the usual range of between 41mm and 45mm. Lending credence to these CAD renders is Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who tweets that these renders are “indeed it”. That being said, it would still be better to take these with a pinch of salt for now, since the actual launch event is so close anyway.

Gurman suspects that this will be programmable so that the fitness aficionados can get it to launch the workout tracking of their choice. Beyond the potentially programmable button, Gurman also speculates that there will be new watch faces that make full use of the larger size. This means squeezing more fitness metrics into the larger screen, giving wearers more information at a glance, though this might involve some squinting.

That, and the many features of the Series 8 watches in general, which may include the ability to detect fevers, among others. (Source: 91mobiles, Mark Gurman / Twitter [1], [2], [3] via Engadget)
