But if you prefer to game on your PlayStation 4 instead, here are a few titles that’s worth your time, especially if you haven’t already tried them.
God of War
First up is God of War. This game is many things – a PlayStation 4 exclusive, and the fastest selling exclusive for a time. It was also the Game of the Year for 2018. With credentials like that, it’s hard to give the title a pass. And it’s sure to take up a lot of your time, between the availability of a New Game Plus, and a fairly substantial list of side quests for each playthrough. The game also serves as a reboot to the series. It sees Kratos, having slaughtered the pantheon of Greek gods, move on to the world of Norse mythology. Now with a young boy traveling with him, he navigates the new world with a new purpose, with a new combat system to go with it. God of War is priced at RM79 on the PlayStation Store. If you’re a PlayStation Plus Subscriber, then you’re entitled to a 45% discount, bringing the price down to RM43.45.
Spider-Man
Next is Spider-Man. Another PS4 exclusive, this game quickly took over God of War’s title of fastest selling exclusive shortly after its release. Like the previous game, this will definitely take up a lot of your time. There are plenty if side quests, and even more suits to unlock. It has its own unique take on the Spider-Man story, so it’s definitely worth its asking price just for that. And it already has a DLC, so there’s more content to be hand if you manage to blitz through the main story. Marvel’s Spider-Man Game Of The Year Edition is priced at RM169 on the PlayStation Store. At the time of writing though, it has a 50% discount going for it, bringing the price down to RM84.50
Horizon Zero Dawn
Like the other two titles mentioned above, Horizon Zero Dawn is one of the best games to ever grace the PS4. It came out in 2017, and was nominated for six different categories at The Game Awards for that year. Horizon Zero Dawn puts you in the shoes of Aloy as she explores her post-apocalyptic world. As she does, she finds out more about the events that led to the destruction of civilisation, and also more about her own origins. Don’t let its upcoming release on Steam deter you from experiencing it now, in the twilight years of its original platform. You can get Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition for RM79 on the PlayStation Store. Currently, there’s also a 50% discount in place, putting the price at RM39.50
The Last of Us Remastered
If you’ve played this PlayStation 4 exclusive, then you must be painfully waiting for the sequel. If you haven’t, then there’s no better time to play The Last of Us Remastered, and understand why everyone loves it so dearly. In fact, it’s so popular that it’s getting its own HBO series. This game tells the story of a world suffering a mutant Cordyceps fungus outbreak, which results in its own version of a zombie apocalypse. Main characters Joel and Ellie journey through this torn world in hopes to find a cure, with the latter seemingly a key to its discovery. The Last of Us Remastered is on the PlayStation Store, with a price of RM74. You’ve probably noticed a pattern here, but there’s a 50% discount going on for the game at the time of writing. This will allow you to get it for RM37.
Bloodborne
The last one on this list of PlayStation 4 exclusives, Bloodborne is also the only entry in the Soulsborne series to be an exclusive. Despite this, rest assured that it will still be testing your gamer credentials at every turn. In the game, you play an unwilling Hunter in the town of Yharnam. It’s a town that’s known to be cursed, with its denizens turning into beasts at night. And in typical From Software fashion, the full lore is cryptic, and not at all straightforward. Bloodborne: The Old Hunters Edition is available on the PlayStation Store for RM139. At the time of writing, you can actually get it for RM55.60
