Not only that, Grado also stated that the GW100 is the world’s first open-backed Bluetooth headphones. According to the company, the drivers on the GW100 is the same as in its wired headphones lineup, so customers can expect the same level of audio quality out of these cans.

Designed from the ground up, the drivers work in tandem to notably diminish escaping sound by up to 60%. Grado stated that the GW100 will last 15 hours on a single charge and can be charged using a MicroUSB cable.

Priced at USD249 (~RM1,035), the official availability of GW100 has not yet been announced for Malaysia. Given the brand’s reputation among local audiophiles though, we will not be surprised that they will appear in our market eventually. (Source: Grado)
