However, THR later reported the following: Despite the groundswell and speculation that a [Justice League] Snyder Cut could go to Warner Bros.’ upcoming streaming service HBO Max, insiders tell The Hollywood Reporter no announcement of a release of any such cut is imminent. The report, apparently, has caused many fans who have been rallying for the past two years to lose hope. After all, Warner Bros has the final say on whether or not to release Zack Snyder’s version of the film, and if WB isn’t interested despite the cast of the film itself calling for it, then perhaps this ‘Snyder Cut’ of Justice League will never see the light of day. One fan even wrote to Snyder on the Vero App, saying: “Say something. I am losing hope.” To which Snyder cooly replied, “Don’t.”

— -/George- (@kryptonscodex) November 26, 2019 Look, at this point, I have absolutely no idea if we’re ever going to see the Snyder Cut. But I am genuinely impressed by how passionate the movement has been over the past couple of years. The thing is, I don’t know if WB sees the Justice League Snyder Cut as something worth investing in. While a vocal group of fans are still clamouring for it, it does seem like WB/DC has already moved on. With recent box office and critical hits like Joker and Aquaman as well as exciting films like Wonder Woman 1984, Matt Reeves’ The Batman and James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad around the horizon, things are looking better than ever for Warner Bros/DC.
