The X1 Nano features a 13-inch Dolby Vision 2K display with the option to have it include touchscreen support or otherwise. The new Lenovo laptop is also the first to be based on the Intel Evo platform which is powered up by 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processors. Other than that, it also includes up to 16GB LPDDR4x RAM, up to 1TB PCIe SSD, and is powered by a 48Whr battery. In regards to the latter, Lenovo claims that the device could last up to 17.3 hours on a full charge.

Other features include Intel Iris X graphics acceleration, Dolby Atmos speaker system with two upward-firing tweeters and two downward-firing woofers, and four 360-degree microphones for calls. Security-wise, the laptop includes an updated suite of AI and biometric ThinkShield security features which range from voice recognition, human presence detection, and fingerprint identification.

In terms of connectivity, the ThinkPad X1 Nano features wireless support for WiFi6, Bluetooth 5.0, as well as LTE 4G and 5G. For the wired variety, it includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports as well as a headphone and microphone combo jack. The laptop is also compatible with Thunderbolt and USB docks for additional connectivity. The new Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano is expected to be available in the fourth quarter of 2020, and prices are expected to start from US$1,399 (~RM5,815). The laptop’s availability and pricing for Malaysia has not been announced at this time. Meanwhile, the company has revealed that pre-orders for the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold with Windows 10 is now open, with prices starting at US$2,499 (~RM10,387).
