According to the minister, certain private companies and entrepreneurs already in discussion with high technology providers to turn such journey by flying car into a reality. Even though he cautiously signalled that the discussion is still in the early stages, the ultimate aim is apparently to make the journey possible by 2020.
Back in July, Redzuan has stated that a local company is already working on a flying car prototype that should be ready by October. The minister declined to reveal the company’s name although he did mention that it is a well-known outfit within the drone industry and operates in 26 countries. While there is no doubt that the remark by the minister at the Parlimen today was rather interesting, it is hard to brush off the feeling that the project is a little bit too ambitious for its own good. That being said, we still looking forward to checking out the flying car prototype very soon, provided that its creator is able to finish it up on time.
