Now, to be clear, images of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra had already leaked prior, but thanks to Blass’ extremely high-resolution render, we can actually make out most of the physical details of the upcoming Samsung tablet. While the images are not accompanied by any details or specifications about the hardware, we can see that the tablet is going to a pretty huge slate, with rumours suggesting that it could be a 14.6-inch AMOLED display with WQXGA+ (3000 x 1800) resolution. Another rumoured physical aspect that the renders seem to confirm is the notch at the top of the display, put there to house two front-facing cameras that we’re surmising will be used for facial recognition and video conferencing purposes. On the subject of cameras, the back of the tablet also shows a dual-camera setup, complete with the magnetic strip for the accompanying S Pen, running directly below the module. As for the hardware, an extensive leak that appeared earlier in the month suggested that the tablet is expected to rock Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 16GB RAM, a 512GB storage capacity, and a huge 11200mAh battery with 45W charging capabilities. As of this publication, there’s still no word on the pricing for the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra but at the rate these leaks are springing up, it’s safe to say that we’ll be hearing more from Samsung about it, come 9 February.
