Specs-wise, the Malaysian version of the wearable is similar to the global release that was launched earlier in March. To recap, the OnePlus Watch comes with a 46mm 316L stainless steel body, along with a circular 1.39-inch OLED display which features 454×454 px resolution, 326ppi pixel density, and sapphire glass protection. On the right side are two buttons for user interaction, and the body itself comes with an IP68 rating in terms of water and dust resistance, and is also able to withstand depths of up to 5ATM.
Included on the watch is 1GB of RAM, 4GB of storage, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, GPS support, and a variety of health and sports tracking sensors. OnePlus claims that the device is capable of lasting up to two weeks of regular usage, and also features fast charging support that can top-up its battery capacity in only 20 minutes. The OnePlus Watch comes with over 110 workout modes, and also health monitoring functions for blood oxygen, stress levels, heart rate, sleep, and so on. Being a smartwatch, it also includes an onboard music player, as well as several phone-to-watch features such as notifications and call management.
As mentioned earlier, the new OnePlus Watch will be available for purchase starting at 12am later tonight, exclusively via the brand’s official store on Shopee. It will retail for RM699 and is only available in one colour option: Midnight Black. OnePlus noted that offline sales for the device at selected authorised stores such as Senheng, SenQ and so on will commence later this week on 22 May 2021. (Source: OnePlus Malaysia)
