Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 was first released in 2016 to really mixed fanfare. Recent reviews have been mainly negative, but to be fair, it’s not exactly easy to rework or improve upon a game that’s been around for 40 years. Also, it’s hard to argue about getting a free game.
In any case, you still play as the iconic yellow ball where you have to navigate through the map eating little dots while avoiding the game’s ghosts. just in 3D graphics and some really trippy levels. The game even has different modes for players to try, including something called Score Attack and Adventure Mode. Oh, and it’s a single-player game only, so don’t expect this game to be an icebreaker in a video game sleepover or party. (Source: Hot Hardware, Steam, Microsoft Store, PS Store)
