To start, it’s a pretty large phone, especially for an entry level model. I’m still not sure about what to feel about a 6.5-inch screen with only a HD+ resolution. But on the flip side, if you’re looking for an entry-level phone you’re probably not too fussed about the crispness of the images you see. But then again, many of the more affordable smartphones have begun trending this way. On a related note, it also comes with a waterdrop notch for the front-facing camera....

As it turns out, the 48MP sensor is actually a Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor which was announced by the Korean company back in October. This doesn’t mean that Redmi is turning away from Xiaomi’s long-time camera sensor supplier Sony though as there will be another version of the phone called Redmi Note 7 Pro which will feature the 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor. Meanwhile, the 48MP f/1.8 camera is not the only snapper on Redmi Note 7 though as it is also being accompanied by the secondary 5MP camera....

Screenshots of what may be a dev build of the game have popped up online. The entire Resident Evil Village plot has also been summarised, with the cutscenes included as well. The Bixby button can be customised to perform different actions with either a single tap or double tap. However, you can only do one or another. If a single tap is assigned to launch another app, a double tap will open Bixby Home and vice versa. Samsung however has blocked the Bixby button from being mapped to Google Assistant or any other AI voice assistant. This was confirmed by Dan Seifert from The Verge on Twitter....

If you feel that the 75-inch model is already quite big, the two new 8K Smart QLED TV models that have just landed in Malaysia are even bigger at 82-inch and 98-inch. Naturally, the same case applies to their pricing as well. Available at selected Samsung dealers as listed on Samsung Malaysia’s website, the new 82-inch Q900 8K Smart QLED TV is priced at RM 99,999 while the 98-inch Q900 8K Smart QLED TV goes for a whopping RM 299,999....

The alleged launch period was leaked by everybody’s favourite leakster, Ice universe (@UniverseIce), who says that the July launch window comes after both Samsung and AMD missed their June release window. Sadly, Ice universe doesn’t follow up the tweet with additional details but at this point, it’s fair to say that we have an idea of what we can expect. Rumours of both AMD and Samsung’s collaboration on a new ARM-based, Exynos mobile chipset first cropped up back in 2019, when the two tech giants announced their “multi-year strategic partnership” and how AMD would license out its first-generation RDNA graphics architecture....

The Galaxy A01 Core comes with a 5.3-inch HD+ screen, a quad-core 1.5GHz chipset, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, with microSD support for up to 512GB. The battery is rated at 3000mAh. The Samsung Galaxy A03 is equipped with a decently-sized 6.5-inch HD+ TFT LCD display which features a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, and a waterdrop notch for its front-facing camera. It also comes with Android 11 out of the box, Bluetooth 5.0 support, a dual-sim tray with microSD slot, a Micro USB port for charging and data, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Similar to its predecessor, however, it lacks any form of onboard fingerprint-based user validation....

Beyond the bump up in the memory department, everything else about the Galaxy A51 retains the status quo. That means you’re still getting the same 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display, the same Exynos 9611 SOoc, and the same 128GB of expandable storage. It’s the same story for the Galaxy A51’s main camera; the phone’s still rocking the same 48MP main shooter, 12MP ultra-wide, 5MP depth sensor, and 5MP macro lens....

At first glance, the new Galaxy A72 model looks almost similar to its predecessor, especially in front – save for a smaller punch-hole camera cutout. Flipping the phone over, meanwhile, exhibits a new “hump” look for its camera array which seamlessly blends with the rest of its rear case. This replaces the glass housing approach that was featured on last year’s model, giving the Galaxy A72 a cleaner look. The images provided by WinFuture suggests this upcoming Samsung smartphone will be offered in four colour options: black, white, light blue and lavender....

That said, it looks like only the power button and volume rocker will be present, and not the Bixby button. The buttons will also all be on the left side of the phone, leaving the right side empty. The render also reinforces previous rumours that Samsung will have the Galaxy Note 10 lose the 3.5mm audio jack. This is evident from looking at the bottom portion of the phone, where the USB-C charging port and the S-Pen slot remains....

As a celebratory promotion for the series’ launch, customers who purchase any Galaxy Note20 smartphone from 21 to 31 August will be entitled to bring home two Samsung branded accessories worth RM508 for free; a UV Sterilizer with built-in wireless charger, and a Wireless Charger Convertible. This deal is only available for a limited period and is applicable to purchases of the device at all Samsung Experience Stores nationwide or their online e-store....

According to MoH’s Medical Device Authority Register (MDAR), the Samsung Blood Pressure App received approval for usage in Malaysia in mid-November. Registered under Samsung Malaysia Electronics, this means that the application was likely done by the company itself. The company recently has added Neo QLED Smart TVs into the catalogue on its Malaysian website. According to the listing, all four Neo QLED models will be released into our market including the top-of-line model, the QN900A. Aside from their exterior design, among the main differences between the QN900A and the other Neo QLED 8K model which is the QN800A is their HDR performance. Samsung’s website said that the QN900A offers Quantum HDR 64x as opposed to the Quantum HDR 32x on QN800 except for the 65-inch variant of QN900A that maxes out at Quantum HDR 48x....

According to the patch notes from Samsung, One UI 3.0 brings smoother motion with improved animations for its interface, and now includes haptic feedback for common interactions. Dynamic Lock Screen now includes new image categories, a widget to check your usage time, and improvements on Always On Display as well as Lock screen customisation. Other than that, Samsung Internet web browser now allows users to reorder and lock tabs, add specific widgets on the Home screen by touching and holding a corresponding app, a cleaner and more customisable Quick Settings panel, and much more....

For starters, OneUI 2.5 brings Wireless DeX connection support, enabling the Note10+ to connect directly to a TV that supports Wi-Fi Direct or compatible with Miracast. However, a small disclaimer in the notes recommend that this feature be used with Samsung Smart TVs that launched after 2019. Moving down the list, OneUI 2.5 also brings improvements to the Wi-Fi of the Note10+. Now when you search and attempt to connect to Wi-Fi points, the phone will now inform the quality of the Wi-Fi router as Very Fast, Fast, Normal, or slow....

The patents, which were first spotted by LetsGoDigital, looks relatively interesting and indicates that Samsung may already be looking towards moving away from putting punch holes and notches on the display. The first sketch depicts a phone with a blemish-free display with a part of the phone’s sliding back noticeable at the bottom. Sliding that frame down reveals another display, indirectly extending the phone’s display real estate. Then there’s the in-display camera depicted in the second design slide....
