According to Financial Times, ByteDance’s streaming service will also include a library of short video clips for listeners to search through and sync to songs as they listen in, aside from providing on-demand music. The social media platform clarified that it defines state-run media as media entities that are either financially or editorially controlled by the state. Bloomberg reports that Assassin’s Creed Infinity will have multiple different settings “with room to expand to others in the months and years following its debut”. This is opposed to the way the series currently does, which is to have each entry take place in one spot, in geography and time. The report implies some sort of amalgamation of multiple Assassin’s Creed entries into one. It also notes that “individual games on the platform might look and feel different, but they will all be connected”....

The Volkswagen EV charging robot is mostly autonomous. It starts up either via an app or through communication with an EV. And once it does, it will automatically pull a battery trailer towards your car and plug it in. Engadget reports that it is able to also open the flap on the car on its own. It can also disconnect the battery trailer when the charging process is done. And if another EV needs its services, it simply leaves the battery trailer by your car, and gets another one for the other EV....

To be more precise, WhatsApp users could only choose between allowing “Nobody”, “My Contacts” or “Everyone” from adding you to their group chat. WhatsApp has since removed the “Nobody” selection, replacing it with a “My contacts except…” option. To be clear, those who are not allowed to add you into groups aren’t blocked entirely. WhatsApp says that when a group admin who is not authorised to add you, he or she will be prompted to send an invite through private chat, effectively asking for your permission to be added....

The Economic Times quotes WhatsApp Vice President Chris Daniels as saying “We are going to be putting ads in ‘Status’. That is going to be primary [sic] monetisation mode for the company as well as an opportunity for businesses to reach people on WhatsApp.” The ads will make use of Facebook’s native advertising system. No specific timeline was given regarding its implementation, though it’s believed that the ads will show up in 2019....

Recently, Lionsgate released a red band trailer for the film and it was much better received by the online community, in comparison to the previous shit storm. Not loved mind you but people were a little more level headed in their response. For us though, we were absolutely thrilled. We can’t wait for a spanking new adaptation of Mike Mignola’s magnum opus. After watching the new trailer multiple times and doing some research of my own, I’ve come to realize that this might be the most ambitious Hellboy film yet....

To be fair, Notepad itself isn’t the problem as far as security is concerned. According to Tavis Ormandy, a security researcher from Google Project Zero, the issue lies with a component in Windows’ Text Services Framework, which manages keyboard layouts and text input.
