The documents stated that the Chinese tech giant had shipped computer equipment by Hewlett-Packard Co to an Iranian telecom carrier on December 2010. Other items in the packing list include software made by other US companies such as Microsoft, Symantec and Novell. The renders were first posted by Videocardz and from the looks of it, the new packaging designs seem to match Intel’s new logo designs for the 11th Gen CPUs. According to a Telegraph report, Apple poached Intel’s 5G modem lead, Umashankar Thyagarajan back in February. The report also states that Thyagarajan was also the project engineer for Intel’s XMM 8160 5G chip, and played a key role in making the 5G modems of the iPhone XS and XR. Thyagarajan’s new role at Apple is described as “Architecture” according to his LinkedIn bio as spotted by Engadget. Considering Apple has had plans since November last year to make its own 5G modem, it seems highly possible that he would be involved with the said project....

In the video, Ryan Shrout of the Intel Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics (AXG) marketing team pointed out that the IBC are essentially the Intel Arc Limited Edition cards. They come in two forms including one with the Arc A770 GPU that is accompanied by 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM and another that features the Arc A750 GPU. As for what was revealed about the ARC desktop GPUs, the list includes detailed specifications for each of the four graphics cards. And in case you’re wondering why four, it’s because the ARC 7 lineup has two SKUs: the A750 and A770. This is different from what we are already privy to, for the simple fact that, prior to this, Intel merely gave us a glimpse of each card’s physical design and outlook....

The tech site in question is Wccftech and according to the outlet, attaching a non-LGA1700 cooler on to an Alder Lake processor could lead to some uneven distribution of thermal paste across the CPU lid. Apparently, this is primarily due to the Z-height of new 12th generation CPUs versus the older versions. In contrast, the new processors sit slightly taller than its predecessors by 1mm, yet that difference in height is seemingly enough to cause the uneven distribution....

In a brief moment during the presentation, you get a glimpse of the Live Performance Monitoring window showing some details that the tech news site was eagle-eyed enough to catch. Specifically, the details of the GPU on the chopping block had a GPU clock of 2250MHz and a TDP of 175W, the former being achieved with GPU utilisation going over 99% use. Moreover, the amount of graphics memory, while not pictured, had its VRAM frequency running at more than 1GHz....

Based on the site’s findings, both Panther Canyon and Phantom Canyon NUCs will be powered by Intel’s 28W Tiger Lake U-series processors. Panther Canyon, in particular, will have the distinction as being the first NUC to feature Intel’s yet-to-be-released Xe graphics solution. Remaining specifications include dual-channel DDR4-3200 SODIMM slots with support of up to 64GB, an M.2 2280 slot, an HDMI 2.1 port, mini DisplayPort 1.4 port. As well as support for Intel Optane Memory M10 and, surprisingly, NVMe PCIe 4....

During an interview with the Indian tech site Gadget360, Koduri emphasized that his priority with ARC Alchemist at this point was keeping his core audience happy with a GPU capable of delivering performance but without breaking too far past the 200-225W power threshold. Not only that, but he hopes to be able to do that with future high-end Intel graphics cards as well. Koduri’s desire for an Intel ARC card that squeezes out near enthusiast-level performance with lower-than-average power consumption isn’t unfounded....

The news comes from German-based tech reviewer, Igor Wallossek, founder and creator of Igor’sLAB. According to Igor, Intel internally decided to move up the launch of its ARC desktop to a time between 5 August and 29 September 2022. Apparently, that time frame is the best opportunity for the Blue Team to meet their current timeframe. In all fairness, Intel’s launch window for the ARC desktop graphics is figuratively quite restrictive; this basically means that the chipmaker will have no choice but to, for lack of a better word, bumrush the launch of its remaining Alchemist-based cards, two of which we already know to be the A770 and A750, while the third card still remains unnamed....

The job description says that accepted applicants will be a part of Intel’s QAT design team and will play a key role in the “development and integration of QAT into Atom and Xeon based SoC,” on both Intel and TSMC process. While the semiconductor company is famed for its processors – both for the desktop and laptops – and its contribution towards the “thin and light” Ultrabook, Intel is also known for producing a greater number of specialised Atom and Xeon-based chipsets....
