Reports of the Zen+ CPUs existence first popped up at the beginning of August this year. To date, only the 2990WX and 2950X are currently available on the market. As pointed out by AnandTech, the 2970WX is similar to the 2990WX in that it uses four eight-core Zeppelin dies on a single piece of substrate. But with one core disabled within each dies. So instead of of 32-cores, the 2970WX will only have a 24-cores, 48-threads running on a base and boost clockspeed of 3GHz and 4....

As it turns out, that “sometime” will be on 7 February 2020. For those who not familiar with the chip, AMD referred to it as the world’s first 64-core desktop processor which also carries 128-threads. With a base clock of 2.9GHz and max boost clock of 4.3GHz, the 280W Ryzen Threadripper 3990X also offers a total cache of 288MB alongside support for quad-channel DDR4-3200 RAM and PCIe 4.0. All that provides up to 51% better performance in 3D Ray Tracing on Maxon Cinema4D Renderer alongside 25,399 points on Cinebench R20....

The first one, and probably most important in terms of quality of life improvement, is the App Library. To put it very simply, this is Apple’s take on the Android app drawer, and it sits at the end of all of your home screen pages. Here, your iPhone intelligently groups your apps into automatically generated folders. There are also two extra folders at the top, called Suggestions and Recently Added....

Between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, Apple reports that its customers spent over US$1.22 billion (~RM5.05 billion). This, says Phil Schiller, Apple Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, was the App Store’s “biggest week ever.” And on New Year’s Day of 2019, people spent over US$322 million (~RM13.33 million), setting a new single-day record. Even though Apple has yet to officially confirmed this, the appearance of dedicated sections for Apple Arcade and Apple TV+ on Apple Malaysia’s website is a huge sign that they will be available in our market. This is mainly supported by the fact that Apple generally would not list features or products that are not available locally on its Malaysian website. Furthermore, Apple has noted during its special event last night that these two services will be available in more than 100 countries throughout the globe....

The iPhone maker has already made the move designing its own chip. Sources to Fast Company also stated that the company has a team of between 1000 and 1200 engineers working on just that. After Apple’s employees have done designing the modem chip, then the fabrication will be handled by either TSMC or Samsung. At the same time, reports also indicate tensions between Apple and Intel. The latter currently supplies 5G modem chips to the former, but is having trouble meeting development deadlines for the XMM 8160 5G modem....

The page in question notes that an application may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges. An the update is meant to fix that, which is a long way of saying the update is meant to prevent jailbreaking. And the CVE code provided at the bottom makes a clear reference to unc0ver. The Unc0ver jailbreak, as noted by Wired, is notable as it’s able to jailbreak up-to-date Apple devices....

Dr. Joseph Wiesel, a cardiologist and teacher at NYU, stated that his invention covered “pioneering steps” in atrial fibrillation detection by monitoring “irregular pulse rhythms from a succession of time intervals.” He introduced the technology to Apple in September 2017 and provided detailed information regarding his patent. However, it is believed that the company turned down his offer but somehow managed to implement the technology, or similar to it, to the current series of Apple Watch products....

It’s important to note that Foxconn won’t be assembling just any iPhone in India, but its top-of-the-line X series. On a side note, the company already manufactures for Xiaomi in the country. The plant in question is located in the town of Sriperumbudur, in the southern state of Tamil Nadu. Apple is said to be investing INR25 billion (~RM1.48 billion) to expand the plant, which will also create as many as 25000 jobs....

In general, one of the most common signs of an imminent Apple product release is the price reduction for the previous generation models. In the case of the Apple Watch, we recently noticed that two of the largest Apple Premium Authorised Resellers in Malaysia, Machines and Switch have announced price cuts for Apple Watch Series 7 as well as Apple Watch SE (2020). We doubt that the announcement was a mere coincidence since it took place right after all three of 2022’s Apple Watch models have passed through SIRIM’s certification process....

Contrary to an earlier report, though, the leaks indicate that ASRock’s version of the RX 5600 XT features 2304 Stream Processors – the same as the RX 5700 – and not the 1536 Stream Processors that was initially suggested. Further, the new card will have 6GB GDDR6 memory with a base clock of 1235MHz, a game clock of 1460MHz, and a boost clock of 1620MHz. Additionally, the GPU’s memory is set to run at a speed of 12Gbps....

A lengthy 30-minute gameplay video was leaked on Reddit earlier today, which showcased a lot of what the new Assassin’s Creed game has to offer. These include land and sea combat, the RPG-like mechanics, exploration, and many others. Returning to the PSUs, the components were announced during a special event detailing ASUS’ Z690 motherboards, in conjunction with the recent announcement of Intel’s 12th generation Alder Lake desktop CPUs. The PSUs will be part of its ROG Thor lineup and will consist of three products: 1200W Platinum II, 1600W Titanium, and 1000W Platinum II. As pointed out by Videocardz, these PSUs are designed to be paired with high-end CPUs and GPUs and, with the help of PCIe 5....

In addition to that, each lineup will have two SKUs: a standard edition and an OC edition of the RTX 4080. Starting with the ROG Strix lineup, the card is the brand’s high-performance model and is, in a word, massive. The card sports the same clean, uniform cooler shroud design as ASUS’ custom-cooled RTX 4090 as well, as well as the same 3.5-slot heatsink that sits on top of the GPU....

As per the brand’s official statement, the decision to revisit and adjust the prices for its PC components stems from increasing costs of components, logistics, and operations. ASUS had said that it tried to keep the price increase to a minimum as much as it could, but was clearly unable to stop the rising costs. ASUS’ new prices are already instated with its official stores reflecting the increase. That said, the revised pricing for the affected components should soon be reflected on the pricelists of all PC retailers....

What Is It? On paper and in person, the XG43UQ is a huge display. At 43-inches wide, this gaming display takes up a good deal of space on any desk, let alone mine. Ultimately, though, ASUS created this gaming monitor less for the desktop and, ideally, to be used within the confines of a living room. On that note and specs-wise, the XG43UQ’s display has a maximum resolution of 4K (3840 x 2160) with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms Moving Picture Response Time (MPRT)....

Coming from ASUS, this particular laptop was listed on the company’s official store on Lazada Malaysia. Equipped with GeForce GTX 1650 and 4GB VRAM, the ASUS TUF Gaming FX505 also comes with an AMD Ryzen 5 3550H processor which is indeed an interesting pairing. Other than that, the laptop also features a 15.6-inch Full HD display, 4GB of DDR4 RAM, and 1TB 5400rpm hard drive. Wi-Fi 5 adapter, RGB keyboard and a 3-cell 48WHr battery are also equipped into the TUF Gaming FX505 as standard....

It should be pointed out that the suspension has affected all credit reporting agencies (CRAs), chief among them being CTOS, Credit Bureau Malaysia, and Experian.
