This was spotted in WhatsApp Beta version 2.20.163, which features shortcuts to Rooms in various sections of the app. Specifically, the user can access Facebook’s new feature via the Share menu, as well as in the Calls section of WhatsApp. Upon clicking the Messenger Rooms icon, the app will present a brief introduction to the feature itself and will prompt the user to launch the Messenger app in order to use it....

There is one important difference that sets Microsoft apart from the other three companies, though. While Apple, Google and Facebook have pledged to pause get contractors to transcribe recordings, it looks like Microsoft will still continue with the exercise. Instead, the company has updated its privacy policy to mention that it will indeed have humans review some recordings. On balance, The Verge says that it is possible to retroactively delete your voice data....
The experiment, Microsoft says, is to see if hydrogen is a viable alternative to its current diesel-powered backup generators. That currently account of less than 1% of its overall emissions when in use, but reportedly just sits around not doing anything “for more than 99% of their life”. Technically speaking, the company argues that with a fuel cell, a hydrogen storage tank, and an electrolyser would help generate electricity for its grid....
According to Microsoft’s official page, the new storage requirement for Windows 10 version 1903 will be increased to 32GB for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. In comparison, that’s double the requirements for the former version, and 12GB more than the latter. The page doesn’t explain Microsoft’s decision to increase the required storage capacity. However, some Windows 10 users are suggesting it has something to do with a new “Reserved Space” features for future updates....
Powered by Microsoft SQ1 chip which is a customized version of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx, not all variant of Surface Pro X will be released in Malaysia at the same time though. According to Microsoft, the 256GB model with 8GB RAM will be making its way to Malaysia first with a price tag of RM 5,799. It will then be followed by the 128GB model with 8GB RAM on 21 February which is going to cost RM 4,599....
In a statement shared on Twitter, the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) said that the application site was shut down between 2PM and 4PM earlier. This was to reconfigure the application system so that only companies that are allowed to operate get access. Within the first two hours of the site’s operation beginning 9AM, over 176000 users attempted to access the site. The ministry said this was way beyond the number of companies in the approved sectors....

It is also being done to support the organization’s Airports 4.0 digital transformation effort. Appointed for the upgrade exercise is edotco which is a division of the Axiata Group and has took over the indoor building network (IBC) management from Skai Network Sdn Bhd. According to an update to the initial PlayStation Blog entry, SIE says that the additional PS5 faceplate colour options will be available starting 17 June 2022. If you need a refresher, these additional colours are Starlight Blue, Galactic Purple, and Nova Pink. No new prices were announced, but going by the initial announcement, these new colour options will have the same price of RM259, just like the first two. So far, SIE has five additional colour options for both its PS5 DualSense controllers as well as the faceplates, in addition to the default white....
When it was launched in September, the HP1 was said to be the world’s first 200MP image sensor. In the same tweet, Ice Universe also claimed that Xiaomi will begin to use it sometime in the second half of 2022 while Samsung itself will only start using it much later in 2023. While this may sound odd that Samsung is not using its own sensor immediately, this is not exactly a unique case as far as the ISOCELL image sensor is concerned....

According to Mozilla, the plugin is developed under Project Bergamot, a European Union-funded consortium consisting of the company itself, the University of Edinburgh, Charles University, the University of Sheffield, and the University of Tartu. Rumours about the next generation console first popped up via a tweet made by journalist Ainsley Bowden, who said that “multiple insiders” stated that Microsoft’s next Xbox would be “more advanced” than the PS5. There is the question of just how reputable Bowden’s source are, but he has however pointed out that they do have a decent track record when it comes to leaks such as this. Beyond that tweet, Bowden’s sources don’t provide any details on the console’s hardware specification....
