Now, Deadline reports that another Game of Thrones prequel is in development at HBO, one that will be set 300 years before the War of the Five Kings, and will detail the beginning of the end for House Targaryen. Unfortunately, HBO declined to comment. Deadline also reports that the series will be created by George R.R. Martin and Ryan Condal (Colony) and will most likely be based on the Fire & Blood book that Martin released last November....

The top five major smartphone brands – Samsung, Huawei, Apple, Xiaomi, Oppo – showed declines in their smartphone sales, with Samsung statistically being the biggest loser in sales. In Q1 2020, the Korean giant’s sales figures saw a decline of 22.7%, selling only 55333 smartphones versus 71621 units in the previous quarter. Huawei shares similar losses, with smartphone sales having declined by 27.3%, although it’s also likely that the lack of Google Mobile Services (GMS) and its ongoing sanctions by the US played a significant role in its declining sales....

When it comes to design, the RTX 2080 OC White 8G graphics card comes with an all white cooler shroud, with three ‘black’ open-air WindForce 3X cooling fans. GlobalFoundries’ lawsuit targets 16 specific patents that it says TSMC had infringed upon. Of those 16 patents, the company appears to be seeking financial compensation for 13 of them. Oddly enough, while the details of each patent infringement listed is specific and detailed, GlobalFoundries’ lawsuit doesn’t actually list down the products affected. However, it did name companies such as Apple, Qualcomm, Google, NVIDIA, Lenovo, and MediaTek as some of the brands using products that are affected by the patents....

Despite this, the company is not completely abandoning the project. In a developers blog, Google says that it will continue to contribute to the project by adding new features. These include an SDK package for the Unity game engine. But it remains to be seen if this will be a long term thing, or part of the company’s winding down roadmap. Google has shipped over 15 million units of the Cardboard since it was first announced back in 2014....

Announced during the search engine’s Google for Nigeria event, Gallery Go automatically organises photos into different categories. Categories include people, selfies, nature, animals, document, and videos. And it does it without the phone’s user having to manually label the images. As mentioned, Gallery Go is designed to work offline; it basically uses less than data than the currently existing Google Photos app, taking up only 10MB of space on Android devices....

However, it is worth noting that only an admin or meeting organiser will be able to see and approve any potential participants if they choose to join the call session. Google added that this feature will be enabled by default once it has been made available to the video conferencing platform. Prior to this, such a synchronisation was restricted by the Apple OS’, forcing users to alternate between the two services. On that note, getting both accounts synced up simply requires Apple users to start up Google Photos and going into the app’s settings. The intention to simplify the SOPs was something that has been announced by Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin before but this is the first time that a specific target was revealed to the public. While the number of existing SOPs under the National Recovery Plan (PPN) is rather huge, they are actually spread across four phases and many of them may overlap with each other.
