What led to this speculation is the device’s recently discovered entry in the Google Play Console database by Mysmartprice, revealing similar hardware specifications as the brand’s second generation China-exclusive midrange smartphone. More specifically, the Xiaomi 13 Lite is listed to feature a display with 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution, Qualcomm’s mid-range Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, an Adreno 644 GPU, up to 7.6 GB of RAM, and runs on Android 12 out of the box....

As opposed to the previously announced Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, the new model looks physically different. For starters, the Mi 10 Lite comes with a square-shaped rear camera module while its selfie camera is housed in a teardrop display notch. The camera specs on the phone is different as well. For example, the phone’s main camera carries a 48MP sensor although Xiaomi has yet to reveal the specs for the three other accompanying cameras....

Winning the Mi 10 Pro the highest score of 124 on DXOMARK is its quad camera setup. This consists of a 108MP main camera, a 20MP ultra-wide lens, a 12MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP unit with 10x hybrid zoom. Despite overtaking the Mi Note 10 Pro, DXOMARK says that the shots from both phones are quite similar. What gave the Mi 10 Pro the edge was the more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset....

For those who missed our initial report, the Mi 11 Ultra is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 together with 12GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. It also features a 6.81-inch 120Hz WQHD+ AMOLED screen and another 1.1-inch AMOLED panel with a screen resolution of 126 x 294 on its back. For photography, the phone relies on a wide-angle main camera that comes with a 50MP Samsung GN2 sensor and f/1....

Based on its Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor, the Mi 9T is generally sandwiched between the Snapdragon 710-based Mi 9 SE and the flagship Mi 9 which is powered by Snapdragon 855. However, it is the only model in the family that doesn’t come with a display notch, thanks to its 20MP pop-up selfie camera which allows users to fully utilize its 6.39-inch full HD AMOLED display. On it back, Xiaomi has retained the same triple camera setup from Mi 9 SE which includes the main camera that features 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor....

Instead, the Mi Play is generally a lower mid-range device that is powered by MediaTek Helio P35. Equipped with a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display, the new phone also carries 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. Other attractions of the phone include the dual 12MP rear camera alongside an 8MP selfie camera that is contained within the phone’s teardrop-shaped notch on its display. Going with a micro-USB port instead of USB Type-C, the Mi Play also comes with a 3000mAh battery that supports 5V2A charging....

News of the phone was first announced by Manu Kumar Jain, Global vice president of Xiaomi and managing director for Xiaomi India, via his official Twitter account. The tweet itself is sort of cryptic; Jain’s announcement doesn’t directly or specifically out which Snapdragon 730 chipset the brand will be using, but it’s obvious that whatever phone Xiaomi is working on. Will have either a Snapdragon 730 or Snapdragon 730G....

Aside from the removal of ads, YouTube Premium also provides the ability to play videos on the background while your mobile device’s screen is off and when you switch to a different app. In addition to the access to YouTube Originals contents, there is also the ability to download videos and playlists for offline viewing. The Galaxy A7 2018 rear camera setup features a 24MP f/1.7 main camera which is accompanied by an 8MP f/2.4 ultra wide-angle camera and 5MP f/2.2 depth camera. Posted on a well-known database marketplace forum earlier this week, one of the data sets came from three different organisations including Astro, Maybank, and SPR. MacRumors reports that all four models of the iPhones to be released in 2022 will feature the 120Hz ProMotion display. There are already reports of this year’s models coming in lower-end and flagship variants. But if they will all share the same display, then the reduction in specs to justify the lower-end label will be seen elsewhere. For now, the report speculates that the battery and cameras will be where the differences will be found....

Known as Mojo Lenses, these contact lenses contain microdisplays with 14000 pixels-per-inch, wireless radios, images sensors, and motion sensors. All within the space of a product no bigger than a paper clip. According to IEEE Spectrum, the first generation of Mojo Lenses are also powered wirelessly, while the next generation will have batteries of some kind built into it. The Acer Aspire Vero is touted as easily upgradeable and repairable, as the bottom can be easily opened with standard screwdrivers. Acer says that users can upgrade the RAM and storage themselves and it won’t void the warranty if done correctly, but encourages users to instead bring it to an Acer service centre. Unsurprisingly, the number one type of complaints MAVCOM received in 2H20 was related to the processing of refunds – 35.1% of all total complaints. According to MacRumors, Kuo also thinks that Apple now has more resources to develop its 5G iPhones. This is, of course, following the company’s deal with Intel in acquiring the latter’s smartphone modem chip business. Kuo predicts that not only all three iPhones will come with 5G support, they will all support both mmWave and sub-6GHz tech. That said, he also mentions competition with Android devices that only support sub-5GHZ tech....
