Chinese Tech Companies Are Trying To Circumvent New Apple Privacy Rules

According to a report by the Financial Times, state-backed China Advertising Association (CAA) is testing a tool to bypass the new Apple privacy rules. This will then allow companies to continue tracking users without their consent. In turn, this allows the companies to continue serving targeted ads. The tool is known as CAID, and it’s being touted as “a substitute if the user’s IDFA is unavailable”. Though the CAA claims that the CAID is both not yet formally implemented, and “does not stand in opposition to Apple’s privacy policy”....

Cybercriminals Using Google Ads To Scam Victims

The idea behind this method of scam makes sense. After all, whenever you type in, for example, YouTube in a browser search bar, Google will more often than not put an ad for the YouTube home page at the very top of the search results. The actual link to the same page will appear immediately below, and clicking both brings you to the same page anyway. That is of course assuming that you’ve clicked on a genuine “ad”....

Endgame Was Going To Address Children Who Became Orphans After Thanos Snap

In fact, there’s so much more we could’ve explored. How many people who lost their loved ones after the snap committed suicide? How many moved on and remarried? We may never find out. However, one minor plot we almost got was that of Black Widow leading an organization for orphan children. Speaking to Slate’s Podcast The Gist, the Russo brothers had this to say: I believe at one point really early in development, Black Widow was actually leading the organization in D....

Eu Court Favours Huawei In Logo Spat With Chanel

But the EU General Court in Luxembourg found that, while the logos were similar in some ways, their visual differences were significant, a BBC report said. “Chanel’s marks have more rounded curves, thicker lines and a horizontal orientation, whereas the orientation of the Huawei mark is vertical. Consequently, the General Court concludes that the marks are different,” the court said. The BBC noted that in 2017, Huawei applied for EU trademark protection for a logo it wanted to use for computer hardware, but ran into opposition from Chanel....

Eu Court Rules Youtube Not Automatically Liable For Copyright Violations By Users

“As currently stands, operators of online platforms do not, in principle, themselves make a communication to the public of copyright-protected content illegally posted online by users of those platforms,” the European Court of Justice said. But if YouTube is aware of the illegal content on its platform and doesn’t act quickly, then it might find itself in hot soup. The court also noted that platforms could be liable if they don’t install the appropriate technological tools to stem copyright violations or if they offer tools for illegal content sharing....

Evga Precision X1 Overclocking Tool Now Supports The Nvidia Geforce Rtx 4090

For the uninitiated and those that haven’t actually looked beyond MSI’s Afterburner or ASUS’ GPU Tweak tools, Precision X1 is a precision overclocking tool, launched around the same time that NVIDIA’s first ever GeForce RTX cards first came on to the scene. In other words, sometime in the year 2018, when the Turing-based RTX 20 Series made its debut. As a quick primer, EVGA announced back in September that it was getting out of the graphics card manufacturing business and has even said that it doesn’t not have any plans in the future of partnering up with either of its rivals, AMD and Intel....

F2P Games Are Made For Streamers Not Gamers

This should come as a surprise to no one, and probably least of all to Blizzard. After all, a single glance at the mobile and F2P gaming space would’ve highlighted as much. There have been so many other games like it out there, even including some premium live service titles, and they’ve all been slammed to some degree or another. For a company to still bullishly plough ahead using strategies that are tried and tested to fail, despite the countless warning signs and case studies, it can only be a calculated move....
