The announcement came via the official OnePlus Malaysia Facebook page. The launch event will be streamed there on 17 May at noon. In terms of specs, the company has pretty much revealed everything there is to know about the OnePlus 9 series. Both phones feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, and have rear camera setups co-developed with camera maker Hasselblad. Both come with a 48MP main + 50MP wide angle + 2MP monochrome cameras, with the Pro model getting an extra 8MP telephoto camera....

The Oppo subsidiary recently filed a trademark for the word “OnePlusTag”. Although the listing doesn’t specify what device it’s for, the name would suggest that it will be used for an upcoming tracker device. While OnePlus has not announced anything yet, they do have an event happening on 10 June. The event will launch the new OnePlus Nord CE 5G phone, the successor to the OnePlus Nord N10. In April, leaks revealed that Oppo plans on releasing its own smart tag....

To recap our previous report, a leak on Weibo has revealed an alleged prototype of the latter model, revealing a smaller foldable smartphone with a clamshell form factor akin to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip series. Just recently, OPPO released a teaser video featuring both the Find N2 and Find N2 Flip on the Chinese social media platform, confirming prior rumours and leaks. The company notes that the upcoming foldables will be fully unveiled during the 2022 Inno Day event, which is scheduled take place on 15 December this year....

In a press release, OPPO reveals a render of the side of its foldable phone, the Find N. It doesn’t actually show much, since it’s a look from the side. But the hinge suggests that it folds from side to side, meaning that it will be a book-style foldable device. Company chief product officer Pete Lau, who also co-founded OnePlus, said that the first prototype for the OPPO Find N came about all the way back in 2018....

The new 150W SuperVOOC standard claims to be able to charge a 4,500mAh battery from 1% to 50% in just five minutes and 100% in 15, which is faster than what most people take to get ready in the morning. Interestingly, rather than its own first-party devices, OPPO says that the technology will instead debut on a yet-unnamed OnePlus phone in the second quarter of this year. The icing on the cake is the company’s Battery Health Technology (BHE), which extends the lifespan of smartphone batteries and promises that it will still be in good condition after four years....

Comes in the standard Jet Black colorway, the PS4 Pro 2TB is priced at RM 1949. As a comparison, the PS4 Pro 1TB official retail price is RM 1799. At the same time, SIE will also be releasing another PS4 Pro 1TB bundle into our market. This time around, it comes with a copy of the critically-acclaimed God of War and will be made available for the same price of standard PS4 Pro 1TB model which is RM 1799, as mentioned above....

Bloomberg reports that the service is code-named Spartacus. And similar to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Spartacus will combine both PS Plus and PS Now into one, with the latter being phased out. This will also ultimately change the nature of PS Plus in some ways. Documentation describes a new subscription with three tiers. The first is the standard fare service as we know now. Moving up a tier will grant access to a large catalogue of PS4 games initially, with the PS5 library being added later....

The game is made by a Malaysian dev team called Studio Kamii, and is currently in early access on the Google Play Store. Up to eight players can join in the game, and they will be assigned the role of either policeman or robber. The former wins if they manage to catch all of the latter. For the latter to win, all they have to do is evade capture until time runs out....

Sony first party exclusive titles have recently been making their way to PC in a slow and steady manner, from Horizon Zero Dawn to Spider-Man. When asked if the studio will bring its game to PC the way so many other former exclusives have, Gran Turismo series creator Kazunori Yamauchi told GTPlanet “yes, I do think so”. That being said, the developer did note that there are some caveats to the process....

The first qualifier for PMNC takes place this week on 22 December in Paradigm Mall, Johor Bahru before moving on to Karamunsing Complex in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah for the second qualifier event on 25 December. For the unfamiliar, Rayman Origins is a 2D platformer that was released all the way back in 2011. It allows for up to four players to drop in and out of co-op play at any time. The new mouse has three side plates as of now. First is its original 12-key side plate. Then there’s the standard two-button side plate that’s similar to most other gaming mice today. And finally, there’s the brand new six-button side plate, which the company says is made for battle royale and MOBA titles in mind. The realme 8 5G is quite different compared to when it was first revealed. It has a 48MP main camera, a macro and monochrome lens, and a fourth unspecified camera at the back. The 16MP front-facing shooter sits in a punch hole cutout in front. Barely a day after its global launch, realme has since confirmed that the brand will indeed launch the new laptop in our market. As you may expect, the debut is going to happen virtually and will take place on realme Malaysia’s Facebook page tomorrow, 20 August. Featuring a 14-inch display with a 3:2 aspect ratio and a native resolution of 2160 x 1440, the realme Book can be obtained with either Intel Core i3-1115G4 or Core i5-1135G7....
