As you might have expected, little is known of the camera at this point. However, a set of leaked high-res images point to a body design that is inspired from the E-M1 mark II. Of course, there are differences such as its size due to the integrated vertical grip which similar in manner to the Canon 1Dx DSLR. Other new features include a new scroll wheel just below the shutter button, as well as a new thumb-wheel at the back. Also new is a joystick controller to supplement the D-Pad alongside a new control button arrangement at the back for better ergonomics. It has also been rumored that the camera will include a high-resolution mode which was first introduced in the Olympus E-M5 Mark II. This mode allows images of up to 80MP resolution to be captured at shutter speeds of up to 1/60s. The new camera is set to be launched alongside several new lenses including new tele-zoom and wide-angle lenses.
