The Wall Street Journal reports that the company will be sharing more information regarding third-party “capsules” for the smart assistant during the Samsung Developer Conference. With these capsules, Bixby will hopefully work more efficiently like its competitors, Alexa and Google Assistant.

It’s an open secret that Bixby doesn’t play well with third party apps, and as a result gets pushed aside in favour of other smart assistants. Integrating third-party apps is a great way to convince others to start using it. The general rule of thumb for these things being; as more people use it, the faster it improves and the better it gets. Beyond that, there’s not much else that we know about Samsung’s plan for Bixby. That said, there are rumours that its Developer Conference that’s taking place this month will also be when the company will unveil its foldable smartphone.
