The insight and status of the Galaxy Fold was revealed by Kim Seong-cheol, vice president at Samsung Display, during his speech at the The Korean Information Display Society, which took place in Seoul a few days ago. Samsung’s Galaxy Fold smartphone was announced earlier this year, it’s not an exaggeration to say that the tastebuds and fancy of many were tickled. Then came the myriad of issues that stemmed from its construction and ultimately forced the brand to postpone its launch globally. It also didn’t help the brand and confidence of consumers when iFixit, the US-based mobile repair company, posted its teardown of the Galaxy Fold, revealing all of the problems, as well as the crease that was visible in the middle of the display.
