The most obvious difference between the Galaxy Tab S7 and its Plus variant is their size, where the former offers an 11-inch LCD display while the latter comes with a 12.4-inch Super AMOLED screen. Both feature a refresh rate of 120Hz and an aspect ratio of 16:10, which is ideal for both leisure and play. In terms of device security, the standard version of the tablet includes a fingerprint scanner on its power button, while the Tab S7 Plus has an in-display scanner instead.

Hardware-wise, the Galaxy Tab S7 duo are equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage (expandable up to 1TB via microSD). Both models are offered in Wi-Fi or WiFi+cellular configurations, with the latter capable of supporting 5G connectivity. In the audio department, the Tab S7 and Tab S7 Plus features quad stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and AKG tuning. No 3.5mm headphone jack support on either model, sadly.

As for photography, both models are equipped with the same rear dual-camera setup consisting of a 13MP main and 5MP ultra-wide sensors. Housed in the upper bezel of their displays is an 8MP front-facing camera. Other than that, the pair also includes support of up to 45W fast charging via USB-C ports for their batteries; 8,000mAh on the standard Tab S7, and 10,800mAh on the Plus variant. They also run on Android 10 via Samsung OneUI out of the box, and much like their predecessors – both tablets come with the brand’s S Pen stylus. Speaking of which, Samsung has significantly improved their stylus accessory to provide lower latency, thus giving it a more natural writing or drawing experience for users.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7 Plus will be available in three colour options: Mystic Black, Mystic Silver and Mystic Bronze. They are slated to be released on 21 August in selected regions, and will be priced at USD650 (~RM2,725) and USD850 (~RM3,564), respectively.

At the time of writing, Samsung Malaysia has only listed the WiFi version of the Galaxy Tab S7 on their official website. However, details of its availability and pricing has not been revealed at this time. No word regarding the Tab S7 Plus variant as well. We’ll keep you updated once we’ve received more information from the company. (Source: Samsung Malaysia | Samsung Global [1] [2] [3])
