The new renders showcases the Galaxy Z Fold 2 to feature a new form-fitting cylindrical hinge that hides the spine when it is unfolded. Display-wise, the phone features an outer screen that covers a majority of its front cover, and its interior screen more larger than its predecessor – thanks to the exclusion of the side-notch, which have been replaced with a punch-hole cutout approach. That said, the front display also has a cutout for a front-facing camera as well. Pretty redundant, if you ask us.

— Ice universe (@UniverseIce) July 30, 2020 Meanwhile, on the back of the phone is a triple camera setup that looks somewhat similar to the one found on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 20, sans the fourth sensor. MySmartPrice suggests that the Z Fold 2 cameras will consist of a 64MP main and two 12MP sensors. Details of its two punch-hole housed cameras are unknown for now.

They also added that the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is equipped with two batteries that provide a combined capacity of 4,356mAh. Both batteries are said to support 15W wired and wireless fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is expected to be unveiled during the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event in early August, but some sources say that it may not appear at all. In terms of pricing, MySmartPrice suggests that the phone will retail at USD1,980 (~RM8,395) at launch. As usual, do take these leaks and speculations with a grain of salt.
