Recently, Sharp has showcased a clamshell-style OLED display that looks very similar to the Moto Razr foldable phone. Designed for smartphones, the 6.18-inch display has a native resolution of 1440 x 3040 as well as DCI-P3 wide colour gamut. According to Sharp, the screen is able to bend up to a 3mm radius and has apparently undergone 100,000 bending tests successfully. However, it was made from a plastic substrate, which could leave creases on the screen over time. Before you get excited though, do keep in mind that the display is just a concept product for now. It is not known at the moment whether anyone has adopted it into an actual product but nevertheless, this showed that foldable device is no longer a far-fetched dream anymore.
