As it turns out, they were actually made specially for the release of the IKEA Gaming x ROG collection which will be made available in Malaysia starting from tomorrow, 11 November onwards. This was confirmed to us by Edmund Ignatius, Ikea Malaysia’s Marketing & Communications Specialist during the collection’s media preview earlier today.
Edmund pointed out that this is not the first time that IKEA has released a special IKEA Bistro’s menu to celebrate a release of a new collection. One previous example he said was the Beef Chilli Con Carne Hotdog and Lingonberry Orange Tea Slushie which were made to celebrate the launch of the IKEA x Lego’s Bygglek collection back in March. As for IKEA Malaysia’s all-black hot dog and ice cream, they will be made available until the end of December. Price-wise, they are priced at RM3.90 and RM1.90 respectively or you can obtain them as a combo for RM5.50.
