The baseline of the 3rd Gen Ryzen processors come in the form of two APUs which are actually not pure 3rd Gen models since they are still based on 12nm Zen architecture and doesn’t support PCIe 4.0. These models which include Ryzen 3 3200G and Ryzen 5 3400G, are priced at RM 429 and RM 679 respectively. The pure 3rd Gen Ryzen lineup begins at the 6-cores 12-threads Ryzen 5 3600 and Ryzen 5 3600X are priced at RM 859 and RM 1,069 respectively. For the 8-cores 16-threads model, the Ryzen 7 3700X is available at RM 1,399 while the Ryzen 7 3800X goes for RM 1,799. As for the 12-cores 24-threads model, the Ryzen 9 3900X can be obtained for RM 2,199. If you planning to get the 16-cores 32-threads monster that is the Ryzen 9 3950X instead, you have to wait till September though.
AMD has yet to reveal the Malaysian price of the Ryzen 9 3950X for the time being. Nevertheless, it is definitely going to cost some damage to your wallet given that its general price tag is USD 749 (about RM 3,098).
