The WeChat GO Malaysia mini program will allow Chinese tourists to pay in Renminbi (RMB) using the WeChat ecosystem for services within the mini program. This will be applicable for POS Malaysia, KLIA Express, TripCarte and CatchThatBus.

To start, POS Malaysia provides postcards featuring holiday destinations in Malaysia that can be personalised. For convenience, tickets for KLIA Express, TripCarte and CatchThatBus will be also be integrated in the Mini Program as well. On the other hand, the Pavilion KL mini program allows tourists visiting the mall to make reservations, order and pay in the shopping mall using WeChat. There are over 30 F&B merchants supported currently, including The Loaf, Dome, Laduree and more. For retail and fashion stores, tourists can save precious traveling time by ordering and paying for their choice of merchandise to be picked up later on when they are ready.

The WeChat GO Malaysia mini program serves to attract Chinese tourists through the partnership with Tourism Malaysia for Visit Malaysia 2020. WeChat GO Malaysia is now live on WeChat while the Pavilion KL Mini Program will be available starting of 1 October.
